Betsey is the president of Elizabeth Attel Consulting based in Dallas, TX.  She began her consulting company after taking early retirement as a Senior Vice President from Parkland Hospital. Her thirty-year executive career focused on bettering the lives of women and their families through innovative programming such as creating neonatal, pediatric, and obstetric nurse practitioner and nurse midwifery inpatient services and integrating community women’s clinic services for family planning, gynecology, and maternity.

As someone dedicated to developing leadership in non-profits, Betsey consults for and has served on multiple non-profit boards. She is committed to improving reproductive health services for all women in Texas.
